There is a 928 guy in Tulsa that does no drive his 929 GT if rain is forecasted even if he can't participate without it. His car is pristine top and bottom including fender wells. He is the guy I bought my 90 928GT from. It was show room clean when I got it.

The first year he drove his other 928 to the Texas GTG they teased him by giving him a dirtiest car award. Most years he drives his Jeep Cherokee to the event because of weather. If there is just a forecast of higher humidity or if it is going to dew or be foggy in the mornings he drives the Jeep.

He is a bank president and also runs the 928 registry.

Because of running the registry he keeps track of all 928s and what they sold for. Told me I should sell my GTS for $100K based on what they are selling for. Haggerty doesn't list the 94 for that much. However one sold at Southerby's last month for $120.
