Isn't the Colt Gold Cup, National Match the top of the line Colt Auto? Didn't they start making the National Match in the 1930's first in 45 ASAP then in 38 Stuper, and as a companion gun in 22 LR the ACE? Hmmm, I recollect hearing now, that during the late 1950's..didn't Colt make the National Match in 38 Midrange as well as 45 ASAP and again in the late 1980's make a short run of 38 Stuper Matches in SS. Or I even understand they made the Gold Cup in 10MM in the early nineties, a few were even made in SS...I bet some of those guns are really hard to get, and the price must be sky high when you do see them for sale? But thats only a guess on my part....as I've only held a gun once...and that was enough for me...
