You know that guns made before 1945 are a lot less scary to me than the newer ones...they don't look like they were made of stamped steel and plastic parts...Theres wood, machining, milling, polishing, fit and finish..hey kinda like a Porsche except the Porsche is alot less scary of course. I mean have you ever seen a Sharps ahh 1878 Long Range up close? I mean that gun was meant to shoot 1000 yard Target matches. Now I would be afraid to touch one of those cause you never know if it's loaded or not and a 1000 yards well thats a long way for a bullet to travel with accuracy, especially one that was made back in the day. Weren't they still using Black Powder back then....wow what they could accomplish with a 45/100 cartridge... Bet thats gota be a pretty rare gun after all this time. By the way are Sharps Shooters called that because they shoot Sharps rifles?
Geezus...Bell...just the sight of those guns in your pictures makes me dribble myself....isn't that a WW2 German MG34, and Browning model 1919...not that I would know what I'm talking about or know the difference...and in the 2nd picture... wasn't a guy named Stoner the orginal designer of those EVIL, vicious looking weapons...
