1985.5 Automatic tranny.. recently as i have been accelerating i feel a vibration on my gas pedal and the car feels kinda "UNEASY" and slightly "SHAKY"

i noticed it after the cat blew out but i dont think there is a correlation.

i DO drive the tranny pretty hard with downshifts and such.. what could it be? flex plate?
