While the belt is off, take the zerks out, use a pick to get any dry grease out of the way, shoot some PB blaster or Croil in and let soak, pop in new zerks, if it takes grease put a few pumps in and spin each spindle by hand. If they feel okay, let them ride and slap a new belt on.
That' my take.
