if you have the old key
the RFID pill is programmed to your car

you can transplant that to a new key
and if the pill is good, no Porsche needed.

The Key fob is a rolling codes system.
That one can be learned to your car, by yourself, it's in the manual.


So keyfob broken
get new key or other key, transplant the mechanical key blade
transplant the RFID pill (might need dremel to cut it out)

Mechanical key will work if not damaged
RFID pill will work if not damaged
Rolling code will need to be re-learned via user manual method


The RFID pill is the only thing that needs to be learned to your DME
That's the only part that requires PIWIS as far as I know


Obviously lost key is lost RFID and then you are indeed screwed
