Parsley - everything, especially carbonara
Sage -'fatty meat - beef pork etc but sparingly
Rosemary - with lamb and garlic, but be careful rosemary is a dominatrix
Thyme - pretty much goes with everything and works with all of the above
I grow all and it's great to pick fresh and add to any dish. Add oregano and basil to the list also.
