Since I ran the gift exchange two previous years (I took a haitus last year) and have not experienced an impeachment or other investigation proposed, I guess I did ok and will run it again this year.

As in previous years the "official" rules are the ones posted below - courtesy of Vash - whom ran it several years previosly. I am open to suggestions/comments for any changes that are deemed critical by the official judge (me!)

Until and unless there are any revisions (which will be edited/posted to this thread) the official rules are as follows:

1. Firm cutoff date for submittal is of Saturday 12/1/2018! I plan to sort participants and send out final notices the afternoon of Sunday 12/3/2016.

2. PM me your Real Name, full shipping address and PP handle by 12/1 please.

3. On or by 12/3, you will receive a PM from me forwarding a name/address. This is who you will send your gift to. I will post on this thread when all PM's have been sent. If you haven't received a PM once I announce they've all gone out, post here and I will resend it.

4. Keep the postage/shipping to a nominal cost...say under $8-10. USPS has a flat rate box anywhere in CONUS for around $8 regardless of weight if it fits in their box.

5. YOU CANNOT BUY THE GIFT YOU SEND. Has to be something you already have and don't mind parting with.

6. Gifts can be serious, funny, thoughtful, appropriate, Porsche related, non-Porsche related, specific for the recipient, indicative of the giver's taste, whatever.

7. Mail the gift in time for Christmas. Once you receive your gift, try not to open it right away...save it for Christmas. Don't peek. we seem to take liberties with this rule..if you peek, sure as eff dont post about it until Christmas..you can pretend to be surprised.

8. There will be snafus and glitches. Schit lost in the mail. Broken schit. Keep it in perspective. If somebody doesn't send a gift, feel free to ridicule and humiliate them on the board throughout the coming year. This is supposed to be fun and stress free...let's keep it in that perspective.

9. Sorry if you get someone you have gotten before. it will be random..luck of the draw. I am not looking back at past list. Bonus if you hate the person you get..pay them back with the gift.

10. I think there should be ten rules - so this is held in reserve.

Reviewing previous exchange results/comments - the most violated rule that seems to receive comments is the above #5. Gifts should be items already around and NOT PURCHASED! This is not a competition. Second most popular comment seems to be around rule #8. This is supposed to be fun - so don't take it TOO seriously. Lastly - if you are not going to be able to send a gift - Don't sign up!

I've updated the list as of 12/7 AM. Sorry for the delay, but I needed to collect all of the addresses and confirm participation. I'll be sending out PMs today.
