hell yeah!! sittin around goin nowhere will make you have lower gas milage. You never said what you got on the highway... that should be around 35 if you can go 55 mph, personally I got a problem driving that slow. But like I said I get around 30 on the highway usually, 4th gear in the mountains doing 45-70 mph got me 29 mph over 250 miles last fall. The throttle mod might make you get bad economy too, until you get used to using it. I can see where someone would be dumping alot of fuel needlessly because it's so much more sensitive at slow speeds.
