Yeah, I've been fiddling with that problem as well for quite a while, and the milage was really bad (about 10mpg in the city, 84 944NA), but then I found out that my AFM was the culprit, where the PO must have played with it to richen the mixture. So I knocked it back about 5 teeth, and now I get about 16 to 20mpg with mixed Highway/city driving, but I live in Boston, where there is ALOT of stop and go traffic, so I lose most of the gas idling ...
I'm getting my inspection renewed soon, so I'll find out if my mixture is still too rich, then I can knock it down further to get even better milage.
