Back when our youngest daughter was going into high school we said if she got B's and A's we'd get her a car when she was 16. She was averaging around an A all the time so we kept our promise and she had decided a 914 was what she wanted as we had been to some PCA autocross events at the "Q" and she drove my wife's 1987 930. Here's a picture of her with John Rickard of Black Forest in her 'new' car which had a newly overhauled engine AND transmission. Our VW Eurovan is in the back ground and two years later she won her class at the PCA Parade in Sacramento by a close 12.74 seconds!
If anyone has pictures of their son's or daughter's first car let's see them as that is a monumentous part of a kid's life I believe.
