Recently posted about a 997 as a year round daily driver. Truth be told I'm falling in love with this car after having driven a few. Apples to others compared to older air cooled cars.

I'm focusing on 2006 and later cars for the improved ims.

Budget is around 40k. This gets me a 25k mile 2006 997.1 or a 60k mile 2009 997.2 with pdk. No preference for the minimal styling changes.

I won't lie, the pdk is impressive and may be a nice addition for a DD. I'll equally happy to row my own for a nice example.

I'll put 10k miles on a year.

Any reason a higher mile car would scare you away? Seems like water pumps are a every 30-40k occurrence. Is a higher mileage pdk a problem? Strangely, there are not to many 100k+ cars on the market which I'm not sure how to interpret.
