ah sorry. yes, you can get a refund on most purchases above a certain point. (I think it's about $40 or 50) you used to be able to get refunds at the Duty Free shops and other locations, but a few years back the system was changed to where you had to send in the claim (a real hassle) so I guess it's still possible, according to Harlan, to get the refund at the Blaine crossing
