I've been frightened as a passenger in many cars but the worst was a Corvette C6 ZR-1 about 8 years ago. Just violent acceleration in every gear and seemed loud and crude for a modern car. I also have a great memory of being a passenger in a 427 'vette going through the gears in the late '60s when I was about 9 or 10.
