Rainbow here. Might not suck the carpet off the floor but it sure is fun to empty the water and see all of what it got. Homes are dirty places. And mine is little used at that.

On the narrow Shark head, that's part of the suction ratio. Can't have a 3 foot wide head and have that kind of efficiency. Like using the end of the hose w/o attachments in the car. Gets everything on one pass.

One more thought and I haven't a clue: do you think that Shark has designed the beaters to set up some kind of harmonics? That would enhance the removal power in my thinking.
