In all fairness to the rest of Maritime Canada, PEI and Northern Nova Scotia did indeed get pasted by the storm on Wednesday last week and the temps stayed below freezing for three days with a substantial wind chill. However here in the balmy western end of Nova Scotia, we lost most of the small amount of snow we got and I didn't even have to fire up the tractor and blow out the accumulation. Yesterday one of the local farmers was harvesting cattle corn.
Sorry you got hammered (again) by the weather, Dennis. Maybe it's time to move to a better climate (like western NS) and avoid the masses of tourists which almost cause the Island to sink under the weight each summer?
