After 35 VWs, 3 MGBs, 544 and 444 volvos, I finally in the summer of 2015 got one of the cars I used to dream about. A Porsche Targa. It's a 1984, about 98K miles. It had lots of oil leaks, and a grinding 915. After having the transmission rebuilt, and the car sitting in pieces for the last 1-1/2 years, I got motivated, fixed the oil leaks and got it running again late this summer. Don't care for the sugar scoop H4 adaptation, but it's far down the list of priorities.
