So fired up to see that photo! Fortunately, it's not 'too' much trouble to remove those things for clearance. On my 914-6 we removed carbs and exhaust, so not an issue.
Plus, the dang Quick Jack is fast, safe, reliable, stores easily. Good for you, enjoy the next phase of your project!
