Doing a hang test to check the harness and connection to the glider was part of the preflight routine when I did a tandum hang glider flight. Good fun!

I did do a tandem paraglide flight in that same area above Interlacken Switzerland, pretty sure I enjoyed it more than that guy did. Beautiful area to fly in. We were up for over a half hour. So this pilot did what he could to get the guy down ASAP. Scary!
It's so steep there that the ground falls away below you as you lift off.
