Wow that was an amazing video and incredible the guy was able to hold on for that long. As an arm chair quarterback I would have hoped the pilot forced a landing on that first opportunity.

In the late 70's I was in the hospital for a couple days and shared my room with a guy who shattered both of his legs and pelvis due to not being hooked into his glider properly. His cries of pain are still burned into my memory some 35 years later.
