The engine is a bit anemic, MPG around 16-18 but otherwise a nice truck. Still built in Japan (as was the FJ), in fact the FJ was built on the 4Runner platform. I traded it for an F150 w/ Ecoboost, slightly better MPG and a heck of a lot more acceleration.

Eric at Pelican turned me on to this Pedal Commander. I have it on middle setting. The pedal feel is day and night like its suppose to be. There's no actual power gain, but the feel is day and night like if you are driving with another 100 hp.
