That is not my experience at all. I haven't been watching the auctions you guys are referencing, but what made my interest in BAT grow is the great level of attention to detail that the peanut gallery has and how they very thoroughly dissect anything that could be wrong with the car and challenge the seller to come up with answers.

There were some Alfas where people noticed the wrong washers under some bolts or something like that. Amazing stuff. If anything, what I've noticed is a herd mentality where if something doesn't add up people start piling up with a vengeance, sometimes picking on inconsequential or fairly irrelevant stuff.
