Maybe so. But these are images purchased by the US Dept of Agriculture for farm surveys. It covers every state in the union, but not every year. Most states only get it flown once every other year or sometimes three years. The
really big aerial companies bid for it, and fly it. It takes massive resources to collect a county, and then the next county and eventually the entire state, and country.
It is public domain free imagery. Just finding it, and then having the mapping software to use it is step one. It is all MrSid Gen3 files. I can't image it has much to do with HIPPA. But who knows, it is the government.
If you know the section township and range of your farm or area I can get you a version of the most recent to back to 2003. Google Earth likely has better images, but those are all copyrighted. With money involved, I can find your house or area in the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and so on. That is really jumping through hoops to get them, and they are not free.
