I just got back from a Sunnyvale x mas . It was faaked!
Halfway through the show, Julian auctions off his liquor glass and a backstage pass to the first guy with 200 cash in his hand.
As a guy is rushing up on stage with cash in hand, my wife, asks what kind of nut job would buy that glass, and at that same moment, I realize, it is my high school, and party buddy Bill Van Wie. I text him, and he shoots back saying I can have that pass.
Its really funny, because when I watch the show, I have always said, that Ricky's character was molded after Bill .
Got to go backstage and get photos with the guys, and got a signed poster for my boy .
They were actually pretty funny. They had a nice little gig in memory of Jim Lahey . My face hurts.
I only discovered the Trailer park boys last season, about this time, and it is easily the funniest thing I have seen in a long long time
