I could almost have written that. Fit's my understanding of humanity quite well. Do do believe our current nationalism is a force that has always been there, it has just been overshadowed by the more highly intellectually functioning members of society. It is rearing it's ugly head and our only option is to over come it. It's an eternal struggle between visions for the word - Reagan's "Shining City Upon a Hill," "Bush's 1000 Points of Light," and Trump's "Screw You, I got Mine."
