“DO you have an an actual old plate from the same era as the truck? “
Yes, it’s a 1947 Ohio FARM plate. It needs to be repainted. It’s a mess.
“truck's, cool, pics are pretty snoozy, especially that first one.”
I’ve seen the actual photos with subjects in them and they are pretty nice, there are even some straw bales. The color contrast with the yellow straw and blue truck is great. These shots are set-ups, checking light and backgrounds, etc. The subjects are her family. She didn't get releases for me to have photos with paying subjects.
“
Just don't rent it out for movies or TV shows.”
Been there, done that. I got $8000 plus $1000 transportation to haul it to Arkansas for a summer and leave it with them. This was before it was restored. They took good care of it except for putting a tire on top of the cab, which caved it in some. Looks like they went to NAPA and bought everything
in stock that would fit a 1947 Dodge. They sent me home with big box containing a new fuel pump, water pump, clutch disk, about a dozen light bulbs, and a six volt electric fuel pump. I came out on that deal, as I had paid $2500 for it and only invested in a tune-up and brake job at that point.
