My friend's family owns a Korean restaurant. I stopped in and his hot sister was working and I placed my order. She said, "Thank you, sir!" I told her no need to be so formal as I know the family. Her reply, "My parents always taught me to respect my elders." That was like a kick to the nuts, and I was in my 30s!
