Well gentlemen, thanks for all the feedback. We pulled the trigger and picked up our 18 SR5 Premium on Wednesday. They gave us $30,920 for the 14 FJ with 31K miles, which is more than our cash out of pocket when we bought it new in November 13. The trade in then didn't count, since I was ready to sell it for $500 before the dealer gave us $3,500.
Anyhow, wife is happy with the bells and whistles, and I'm happy with the fit and finish, looks, road feel, and overall performance. Shifting it manually seems to elicit better acceleration, and it's no slouch. It does feel bigger than the FJ though. Overall, 200 mile in, we're happy. Picture to follow.
