I've got a buddy who pretty much did that. He's got a million $$ + house, cars, and LOTS of money invested and retired in his 50s. He and his wife have been on Medicaid for 2-3 years now. They have ZERO out-of-pocket for healthcare, kept their doctors and have full dental. In fact, they're actually not hiding anything, just playing the government's convoluted game to the max.
