Some at different auctions like the Kremer and other examples of special Porsches, as in this case, just need a different exposure to a wider and deeper pocketed audience. Also buying in person vs from photos can make the difference especially with a unusual offering, like true concours, special equipment/ builder like Kremer, etc. I remember Mecum sold a under 8K mile Kremer that had undisputable documentation for $400K. albeit 2 years ago. The 88 very nice red 930 about to close on BAT has a long way to go from the around $160K now, or another RNM great Porsche.

That Kremer that sold for 173 belonged to a friend of mine, my other friend worked on it in my shop, it was a really wild looking car in person.
