I'm getting multiple emails FROM CARFAX telling me my truck is overdue for service.

The thing is, they are telling me my truck is overdue for service that was performed 4 weeks ago.

Does anyone know what makes carfax think they know my truck's service schedule and/or service history?

This started after I took my truck to a local dealer for service. If my servicing dealer is telling them, he's wrong, and he ought to know better. I'm wondering if this is something new and carfax is getting the info from the dealer who sold me the truck 2 years ago. If that's the case it's just a coincidence that I'm getting the emails now.

I'm worried that this is going to go on my permanent record and when I sell the car there will be a carfax report that says I've been lax with the service - and I'll get put on double secret probation or something.
