If you don't think you will enjoy the xmas parties...

Entertain yourself as a close talker. As people back away a little, move closer.

If they keep backing away, Lift your arm and take a big wiff of you underam, then say "Nope, not me"
and/or Blow into your cupped hand and sniff it. Shrug your shoulders, and offer them a tic tac.

also, when someone makes an attempt at humor, Laugh way too loudly, a little too much.

It will be fun and help you get thru the parties this year, and just maybe get you invited to a few less next year
