My wife does not do the rambling explanation routine. She tends to get to the point. Maybe she is using techniques on me she learned from 33 years of teaching elementary school.
We have a dear friend however who is the mistress of the rambling story. We have been friends for over four decades and I love her dearly, but at times one has to make guess as to where the story is headed and make the leap. Her husband is a man of amazing patience. Then too he is a bit deaf.
