Looks like a nearly new F150? Depending on value it could be totalled, though without other body damage it's possible to just replace the frame and swap everything over.

I was in a similar accident on I-135 once, traffic backed up on the interstate and rear-ended at a fairly high speed by a Ram that wasn't paying attention. Ever since then it has made me nervous as hell to be stopped on the highway, I always try to leave an exit path and watch my mirrors intently.
