John, that isn't unreasonable at all - the cheapest one I could find online was $130. By the time I had it shipped, it would've been close to $200. Looks like I'll have it installed! Thanks for the tip on the year compatibility!

Michael, I did jump the relay at first but it didn't help any. I pulled the relay from my 83 (which worked when I last ran it about 3 years ago) and it's in it currently. Hopefully once I clean the injectors the problem will be resolved. Once or twice I had the car idling extremely low on its own for about 15 seconds, firing on about half the cylinders. I think it's ok electrically.

I'll watch that video and look into the injector pulser. That would be cool to have!

The first time it backfired through the intake it forced the boot that connects the upper plenum to the throttle body up a bit and likely damaged it - it's very possible I have a vacuum leak because of this. I need to get a new boot for that and also the 8 that connect to the spider.
