Yes, 2200g seems like a perfect value build.
I think Ryzen 5 2600 is more heavy-duty, and more $$$

The bios would be compatible with the processor. I read reports that with the B350 chipset people had to update the bios to run the ryzen processors. That may have been on early versions though. The problem is you need another chip to udate the bios, which means delays...Anyhow, I just play GTA5 for now, which is not as intensive as most recent games. Some look awesome though, which means I may have to build a beefier machine in the near future  .
