Dealership left me a message. Mr bivenator, you had a small oil leak that softened the hose to radiator connection and that is the reason for the failure of the hose.
The hose didn't fail until after the overheating and then only after sitting with the engine off did the hose let go. I haven't seen the car but this seems pretty fishy. The car was showing other signs of problems when I left the lot that were not there before the "repair".
Ugly fight ahead.
