I probably have pushed you to feeling that you need to justify yourself by telling us how much you have fun and are successful prosperous. Although I am glad you feel validated, I can't say that statistically means much. The greatest percentage of depression and suicide is from the wealthiest folks. If you are happy, good for you. I hope you can find happiness when and if you aren't prosperous or healthy cause it can come about at any time.
One more thing that is great about getting older (PARF worthy disclaimer so stop reading if you will be offended)
I believe there is an eternity after this life and my destination will be better than this world. As such, the worst case scenario is even if this life is tough, I am that much closer to a better place. I look at it like being closer to going on a permanent and perfect vacation. Think: less years left of taxes, colds, jerks cutting me off in traffic, disappointments... Some say my belief is delusional. I'm not here to argue whether I am right or wrong. Just that for me, getting closer to death is a good thing. I'm getting closer to vacation.
