Without data other than the excess 574 on the threads, there may have been other locations with similar excess that broke loose. Did you have a picture of the other side of the case? Maybe that had more evidence of excessive squeeze out on the inside.

Oil is not air, so wet 574 should cure. 574 also cures with time and heat it seems on my outside cam cover edges.
