Thanks Brian. I installed a high lift conversion kit from DDM Garage Doors, Inc. in order for the garage door to clear the hoods of the two cars on top. Basically, the garage door goes up vertically about 17” higher before it turns horizontally. After installing the conversion kit, the traditional type of garage door opener wouldn’t work anymore; Therefore, I also installed a Liftmaster Jackshaft opener to accommodate the new extended vertical tracks.
