If you are talking about this International TD-6, it doesn't have a pony motor. It has International's direct start on gas/switch to diesel engine from the early '40s. I looked for other crawler pics and didn't see any, but I may be looking at a photo you were not referring to.
These TD-6s are fairly collectible, especially here in the midwest where relatively few of them were sold.
I'd like to try and get it running again. Makes it worth more than scrap metal. If my son the former Caterpillar mechanic lived closer I could get him to help.
