For sale: 1987 Porsche 944 S. I have (6) 944 cars.
This has been my daily driver. I am in need of a sedan, so this has to go.
I did all the work on this car myself. I have been around these cars for a while. This car has been with me long time. I have gone thru it, repaired and maintained a lot.
Greg Fordahl did the alignment.
The body is straight, but has its share of dings. Mechanically, it is a solid driver. It has a rare 16 valve motor.
This work has been done in the last 2 years:
Replaced de-laminated rear hatch
Replace non-working rear wiper motor
Replaced hood and hatch shocks
Replaced rear hatch pins strikers
Replaced ignition switch
Re-keyed all locks and maintained central lock system
Replace clutch
Replaced clutch master, slave and hydraulic hose
Replaced brake master cylinder
Rebuild brake calipers, plus new pads
Replaced timing belt, water pump and rollers
Resealed front oil seals on engine
Replaced motor mounts
Replaced catalytic converter
New tires
Replaced lower control arm bushings
4-way alignment. Corner balance
Replace shocks (Koni Sports)
Change all fluids
Complete overhaul of sunroof
Replace reference sensor
Replaced oxygen sensor
Replace shifter bushings
This car starts; runs great; and is an all weather driver.
I just replaced the battery.
