I got my race license last summer but am unsure if that is going to be better/more fun that just doing track days. Not sure I can afford the time commitment of a race series. Summers up here are precious and I have other interests as well.
If I don't buy a race bike by the time summer rolls around I may convert my current 14' RR to comply with local track regs (safety wire, belly pan, fairings, etc.)

I've done a ton of track days over the years and a couple of races when I went to race school. But I'm like you. I just don't have time for that type of commitment and I kinda got over the racing bug racing my car with POC several years ago.
In fact I was only able to get to the track 4 times last year. Ironically I was signed up for a thunderhill event this weekend that got cancelled last minute due to low attendance.. As much as I love the sport bikes, it's funny me and my core riding buddies have been doing alot more adventure riding type stuff in the last year or so. I had actually decided to sell the track bike but then did 2 track days the weekend after Thanksgiving and decided ok maybe not yet....
Hey Jeff, thanks and to you as well... ya know we both have 90hp Ducs and BRPs. Eventually I will add a Road Glide to the stable and then I'm done.
