When I was there, they ULTRA protective of the lagoon. You could swim and paddle board but they even had signs asking people not to dump out water bottles into the ocean.
Thanks, good to know. I suspected as much, especially the push to protect the lagoon as that's the locale's bread and butter. I just wondered as in some of the more remote places without too much modern infrastructure, it got me to think a bit.
