There are a lot of cool third party apps and hosted apps we won't use because it is just not secure.

We can't even do single sign on because the affordable solutions are not secure and the secure solutions are way expensive.

365 does have a feature called app password where you setup a password for a specific app on a specific computer. But if it burps it defaults back to MFA making the app password useless.

Guess what you are describing is kinda like giving you credit card info to someone. It is now up to their security to protect your card info.

Think if the informaiton was at all proprietary, I would require them to do at least SSL to protect your proprietary data.
