That was back when gamblin sites let ya gamble with real money and hosting services refused to host porn or porn sites.
Was an early ISDN user as well at work, 1990. Used a Mac software firewall called Intergate. Had some hackers try to get in to make sure if it was a good firewall setup. They said they kept getting "Service Not Available" in Klingon. They could not get past it to hack any of our public or private servers or computers. The IT department took over the internet connection and put in a Cisco Pix firewall because that is what a consultant recommended and immediate started getting viruses on the local network.
