I still love that NASA engineer's method of dealing with these guys...
It seems like it would be real easy to rig up a cardboard box with a hidden switch (to turn it off), a 9v battery, a micro switch that turns on when it is picked up, a $2 time delay, a car airbag, and a whole bunch of dog chit...
I think a dog chit bomb that went off 30 seconds after the parcel was picked up would probably have most porch pirates questioning their career choices...
Whatever happened with the garbage can neighbors? I might have just come up with a solution to that problem too...
