What I have read is that they are going up-market with the mid engine version and it will be a separate line from the front engine one.
I hope the guy that did the detail design on the body is not the same guy that did that on the C7. There's lots to like about the last couple versions of the Corvette, but styling is not one of them. There are times I think I'd like to own a Corvette again but there's always something about the car that stops me. Usually, it is some aspect of the styling.
