My method of Removing the Instr. Cluster 1985.5(1).Remove instr. trim panel. 2).Remove 4ea. screws that mount the instr cluster.3). gently move instr cluster toward the steering wheel. 4).You should be able to see elec connectors (2ea) on right side rear of instr cluster, and (1ea) bottom center rear of cluster,unsnap connectors. 5) rotate opposite (LT.)end of cluster outward and unsnap elec. connector(1ea.), rotate rt. end of cluster out reward and remove cluster.
