Paul, one question, and I mean this sincerely: How did you become a "pool hall" guy?
When I was chasing the baseball dream in the '70's I may have tripped into a pool hall once or twice.
I found them a bit sad to be honest. Things must have changed.
Best.

Pool? That's kinda complicated. But overall, I enjoy it. It's a challenge for me...knowing full well that with my age and health issues, one of which is macular degeneration coupled with glaucoma, I'll never reach a top level of play. But frankly, I find people in a pool hall to be more open and honest than some, only a few, I met in the early 911 world. So, for me, it's strictly recreation. It's something Cindy & I can do together so we go to Salem's cue ball once a week or so in order to play on nicely maintained 9' Brunswicks.
Also, I have an "honorary nephew"...a son of a deceased close buddy, who is damned good at the game. Ask anybody serious about the game in the PNW who they'd consider to be the top 5 amateurs, he'd be on the list. So, he kind of brought the game to us.
Now I have a question for you. Were you really in a pool hall, or were you in a seedy bar with pool tables?
Jim, the owner of the cue ball, runs a pretty tight ship. It's a place where kids are welcome..no bar, no grille, just pool. Oh, if you're looking for a money game, you can find one...but if you're not, nobody twists your arm. People from all walks of life enjoy the game. It just kinda gets in your blood...
Now back to the Mustang...Personally, 700 plus horsepower would be no place for this old man, so I'll stick with what I've got...it performed well enough coming home tonight on a traffic clogged and wet I-5. Man..where did Ford find that empty desert road for the video posted here?
